Aromas Boutique Bakery & Cafe Opens

East Harlem's newest Bakery opened this month on Second Avenue. Aromas Boutique Bakery and Cafe is open for business at 2248 First Avenue, which is between East 115-116 Streets. Their motto is "Leave The Baking To Us this Year".

Although Aromas just opened, many people in the community are already familiar with owners Jo-Ann and Eileen Barett. They have been cooking up a storm for community events for the past few years, including Harlem RBI and Youth Action Programs & Homes, Inc events. Jo-Ann is a graduate of the East Harlem Business Capital Corporation Business Wise Coarse.

Some of their fare includes Pumpkin Cheesecake, Sweet Potato Cake, Pumpkin Pie, French Toast Loaf, Chocolate and Cinnamon Cakes and cookies.
